What roles are there inside of Econnected?

B1 (Minimum)

Debaters

Teenagers and Young Adults who wants to grow their environmental knowledge and practice their english skills. Maximum of 120 Participants per edition. It is enough to have a B1 level of English. There are no specific requirements but to be motivated. The debates do not follow a MUN format therefore you do not have to have experience in this field.

Chairs

Group of 20-30 people whose role is to motivate and trigger debaters to discuss the main topics. Chairs work in couples in each meeting and have instructions given by the organizers.

They are mostly selected from previous Debaters or members from ENTER and Somos Natureza. However the application form is open to everyone who has the minimum requirements.

Presenters

They bring educational content to Chairs and Debaters in order to prepare them to the following debates.

They are previously chosen by ENTER and Somos Natureza. There is no application form or process.

  • No experience required

    Since Econectados do not follow a MUN (Onu simulation) format neither does Econnected. For this reason it is not neccessary to have any extensive knowledge of Debates, Environment or a high level of English

  • 50% on the TOEIC Exam at Wall Street English

  • Network with 120 Students from all Over the world

    ENTER International and Somos Natureza guaratees the participation of students from all over the world. We do not have racial preferences. We try our best to have a homogeneous participation of all cultures.

  • Support of Native teachers

    Native teachers, provided by Wall Street English, will prepare chairs to guide their mini group (10 Debaters) giving notions about soft skills, english and working with teenagers. This will guarantee a positive and neutral atmosphere inside of Econnected.
